Phao Grades 7-12 Fall 2020
This fall, our 7-12 grade will tackle the issues inherent in racism, and will wrestle with how, as a Christ-follower, to tackle those issues. This will be a 12 week study beginning September 13th, at 6:00 pm in the sancturary. We will also zoom and post the videos on Instagram. They will then be allowed time to debate the topics, in light of their faith.
For more information, and the complete list of topics and speakers, click the parent meeting letter.
As you child enters a developmentally important phase of life, there are new challenges and questions they will begin to struggle with. As a church, we desire to partner with you to help them navigate this vital time and to encourage them to grow in faith. We will tackle the question of “WHO AM I”. In answering that question, they will be empowered to face stress, challenges and changes while growing in sanctification.
We will begin on September 13th. Twice a month, the second and fourth Sunday beginning September 13 and concluding November 29, in the sanctuary (so we can spread out per social distancing) from 12:30 – 2:00.
For more details click on the parent meeting letter.
2nd & 3rd & 4th grade small groups meet on Wednesday at 6:30 pm on Zoom.
K- 2nd grade meet the third Sunday of every month at 6:00 pm.
We have an exciting new opportunity for your family coming this fall.
Jesus told us to GO and make disciples.
We are an OUTWARD facing community.
For these reasons, this year Trunk or Treat will become Candy CARAvan.
You will be invited to decorate your car, dress up yourself, your family, your dog or cat, and join us as a church as we GO into our community. (in a COVID safe way).
So our Candy CARavan, will be much like a parade. There will be music, and decorated cars, and people in costumes. We will GO into our neighborhoods, together (while staying inside our cars). We will take the candy to them, and in the process, we will have an amazing opportunity to connect with our community in meaningful ways, and an opportunity to share the life-changing Gospel of Jesus with them. Not to mention, we teach our children the spiritual discipline of generosity, of giving to others and of GOING!
We will come back to the church after and celebrate as a church with a COVID safe family picnic and games and of course…more candy.
