Meg Jones Headshot

Meg Jones was born in Jasper, Indiana, but grew up in rural Kosciusko County.

She graduated from Whitko High School and went on to Indiana Wesleyan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Philosophy with additional merits in Biblical Literature and Theology.

Meg went to seminary at Wesley Seminary and United Theological Seminary and earned Transition to Teaching accreditation in secondary sciences from IUK.

Meg has served in a variety of roles inside and outside the church. She served as Senior Pastor, Student Pastoral Intern, and Associate Pastor in several local United Methodist Churches. Additionally, she has worked for the Department of Child Services and taught 8th Grade Science.

Meg considers herself a servant to all she is called to be in community with, especially in local congregations

Being a United Methodist and participating in the procedures of being a Methodist has always been important to Meg. She has served as a youth delegate to Annual Conference, an Equalization member, and was elected to the Jurisdictional Conference delegation once. However, her faith goes far beyond polity and procedure.

In her spare time (when she can find some), Meg enjoys creating art, especially drawing, reading, listening to and playing music, and being anywhere in nature particularly if she can enjoy it from her hammock.
