Taken from behind the pews, a mother is shown holding her young daughter on her shoulder while the worship team leads on stage.

Life brings with it many questions and uncertainties.

At Castleton United Methodist Church, we know that in and through Jesus Christ, we don’t have to go through life alone.

In Jesus, we can thrive and flourish. Jesus demonstrates for us that life, real life, has meaning, purpose, value, and significance.

As individuals and a community, we are a work in progress.

We have aspirations for who we want to be, but have trouble getting there on our own. Too often, we try to pull ourselves up by our ‘boot straps’ and figure it out alone.

We were never meant to do this alone.

And Campaign

AND (&) Campaign Dinner & Docu-series

Sundays, February 2, 16 & 23 | 5:00-7:00 PM | Fellowship Hall

As a predominantly White congregation, it is easy for us to unintentionally give Black History Month (February) token acknowledgment. But as a congregation that desires to take justice seriously, to take loving our neighbors seriously, and, most importantly, to take Jesus seriously, we want to give Black History Month the attention it deserves.

In that spirit, we are going to have Dinner & Discussion together on three of the four Sunday evenings in February. (Feb. 2, 16, 23…skipping Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 9). We will meet from 5 to 7 PM in the Fellowship Hall.

We want to grow in our perspective and appreciation of our Black brothers and sisters and their experiences. Utilizing a three-episode documentary produced by the AND (&) Campaign, we will learn about the history of the Black church tradition in America.

This will also serve as another building block in our year of being rooted and grounded in LOVE. To learn more about the AND Campaign, visit their website at andcampaign.org.

Join us as we dive deeper into the life Jesus offers

We are all in different places in our life and relationship with Jesus. We offer the following ways for you to grow in a way that works for you.

Ask a Question

Maybe you have some questions, but aren’t ready to join a group. We have two ways for you to ask questions and get answers. Our monthly “Big Ask Dinner” and the contact form below.

Get to know others in small groups. Have deeper conversations around what it means to follow Jesus. Encourage and support one another through the ups and downs of daily life.

Get a Coach

Sometimes, what we need is one-on-one coaching to help us get over the hurdles and obstacles of our faith. Get a spiritual coach to get the personal attention you need.

The Big Ask Dinner

A place to anonymously ask any questions on your mind.

BigAsk Dinner returns in March 2025.

Faith. The Bible. Culture. Relationships. Finances. Church History. Church Leadership. Whatever questions you have, this is the place to ask them. All questions are submitted anonymously by you and then discussed by our pastor, staff, and leadership.

We don’t pretend to have all the answers and say so when we don’t.

First Sunday of the month from 5 – 7 PM in Fellowship Hall.

Find a Table Group at Castleton.

Each week, groups across the church meet in homes, at church, at restaurants, and online to grow together in their discipleship journey.

Parts of the year, these groups will all be working through the same material, in line with our worship services. Other times, groups select their own material for conversation and study.

We invite you to stop by any of the following groups anytime.
