Connie Thomas
Chair of Governance Board
Connie Thomas has been a member of CUMC since 2009, and in addition to her governance board position, she serves as a Stephen Minister and Sunday morning usher.
Connie has been married to her husband, Greg, for over 50 years. They have two sons and daughters-in-law and four grandchildren who are the light of their lives.
Although Connie has tried to retire three times, she keeps finding her way back to education. She has been a classroom teacher, a reading specialist, and an administrator.
Currently, Connie mentors principals who are new to educational administration.
She is also a volunteer at Conner Prairie and loves to travel, read and spend time with her family and friends.
Connie is on the governance board to serve the congregation and the community by following the vision of CUMC.
She hopes CUMC will continue to build solid relationships as we welcome others into our community of Jesus followers and that we will find ways to be like-minded and welcoming even when there are differences.
