Who, or what, are we becoming?
The 19th-century English poet and painter stated that “We become what we behold.” This begs the question, what are we beholding? Or, what are we giving our attention to…what is occupying our mind?
Is it possible that much of the ugliness and injustice, the anger and vitriol, the fear and cruelty we see in our world has something to do with what we are beholding?
The season of Lent is a good time to pay attention to what we pay attention to, and make necessary adjustments.
As a family of faith we are going to behold Jesus together this Lenten season as we go through the Gospel of John. John portrays Jesus as the bringer of Light, Life, and Love. We could use some more of that in our world, couldn’t we?
Read along with us through the Gospel of John. Join a Table Group for discussion and conversation about Jesus. Worship with us as we focus our attention on the source of peace, joy, and hope. Let’s see what we become as we behold Jesus together.

Each week, groups across the church meet in homes, at church, at restaurants, and online to grow together in their discipleship journey.
Parts of the year, these groups will all be working through the same material, in line with our worship services. Other times, groups select their own material for conversation and study.
We invite you to stop by any of the following groups anytime.
