Meredith Wilson

Meredith Wilson was born in Indianapolis, grew up in Irvington, and attended Irvington United Methodist Church, moving to Castleton UMC after building his own home in the Castleton area.
He has been a CUMC member for 39 years. He attended Tech High School and Purdue before graduating from I.U. with a degree in Business and worked as a mortgage banker for 40 years, eventually running national Mortgage Credit Operations for Bank One.
Meredith retired in 2005 from J.P. Morgan Chase Bank. He and his wife, Judy, are celebrating their 56th year of marriage. He has two daughters and four grandchildren, ages 7 – 18.
In retirement, he has enjoyed pursuing his passion for fly fishing, teaching breast cancer survivors to fish, and doing volunteer work for Still Waters and Autumn Leaves Adult Daycare.
He enjoys traveling and seeing the world with Judy.
Meredith’s vision for CUMC is that it offers outreach to our community and provides worship and learning opportunities for its congregation as it pursues God’s will together.
