Spring Work Days
April 23 & 30
Lend a hand during Wednesday evening work days tonight and next week from 6-8 PM.
We have both inside and outside activities available. Meet at door 1. Advanced sign-up is preferred, but don’t let that stop you. We’ll be glad to see you! Sign-ups will have first dibs on the projects. Projects will vary according to weather and progress. On April 30, there is an added bonus of the free community dinner in Fellowship Hall. Please contact the church office with any questions.

Big Family Dinner

At our next Big Family Dinner, we will watch the film Food, Insecure, talk with the creator of the film, and take action. Food, Insecure is a 30-minute film that delves deeper into what food insecurity looks and feels like, and its impacts on Hoosier families and communities. Discover the data driving the need for this film and its focus on addressing the root causes of hunger. Hear about real solutions from across Indiana. Breast Cancer Support Group
Monday, May 5
The Journey Breast Cancer Group includes those who have experienced breast cancer in the past or are recently diagnosed. This group meets on the first Monday of each month to share joys and concerns and to offer support for each other. Please share this information as all are welcome to join on Monday, May 5 at 6:30 PM. Please contact the church office to learn more about the group and the meeting location at church.

Indianapolis Global Crossroads Dinner

Next Tuesday, the Center for Interfaith Cooperation, along with other organizations, is hosting a dinner celebrating Indianapolis as a global crossroads. This event is focused on celebrating diversity, educating the community about global cultures, and connecting people with engaging presentations and cultural showcases. It will highlight Indianapolis as an International hub, fostering unity and understanding across different backgrounds. Indians Game

After several years of heading to the ballpark on what seemed to be the hottest day of the year, we have decided to move our annual baseball game up to May, when hopefully it won’t be so oppressively warm! If you are looking for a time of fun, family, fellowship, food, and hopefully an Indians win, please join us on Sunday, May 18. Walk for Dreams: Fundraiser for Outreach

Take steps with Outreach to end youth homelessness at the 2025 Walking for Dreams, a fundraiser for one of our mission partners, Outreach. Their goal for this event is to raise $50,000 to provide transformational services and build relationships with youth experiencing homelessness in Indianapolis.
