Reimagine How We Engage - Big Tent Worship
What we can learn from Paul and Barnabas is that missionaries at their best are really those who desire to be neighbors, who meet on a human level, and share the gospel in the way that people can understand and appreciate. The message the apostles brought was not a weapon, as religion is too often used as today. They didn’t condemn the people of Lystra. They didn’t even mention the name of Jesus. They saw a man in need. They responded with compassion and healing. They connect on a human level. And they simply share about the living God already at work in providing for them.
