3113 A Wilderness Wandering People (John will teach from mic – will sing for 3 Sundays)
We are a wilderness wandering people
On a journey of the soul
May we find our destination
In our longing to be whole
Our holy God is calling to us
With Jesus by our side
May compassion be our compass
May the spirit be our guide.
May we cherish all the children,
Let us heal our family’s pain.
Help us cure our city’s madness,
Let us love and justice reign.
Reconciled with one another
In prayer and praise and song,
We’re the body of Christ together
And we know that we belong.
We belong.
We belong.
Morning Prayer – Liturgist, Rosemary DragaÂ
The Lord’s Prayer:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

CALL TO OFFERING
Doxology –
Let us pray together:
Godliness with contentment is great gain.
We bring nothing into this world, and we take nothing out of it.
We who call Jesus ‘Lord’ devote ourselves to resisting greed,
which plunges the human heart into ruin and pierces it with
many griefs.
We are determined to practice generosity with free hearts,
fixing our hope on God and not on the uncertainty of wealth.
We desire to be rich in good deeds and willing to share all that
we have, laying up for ourselves treasure that will not decay but
will shine in the age to come.
So let it be with us: Amen.

Isaiah 43: 16, 18-19, Isaiah 65: 17-19 (NIV)
16 This is what the Lord says—
he who made a way through the sea,
a path through the mighty waters,
18 “Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
17 “See, I will create
new heavens and a new earth.
The former things will not be remembered,
nor will they come to mind.
18 But be glad and rejoice forever
in what I will create,
for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight
and its people a joy.
19 I will rejoice over Jerusalem
and take delight in my people;
the sound of weeping and of crying
will be heard in it no more.
Revelation 21: 1-5 (NIV)
