New Worship Series:ย Good and Beautiful and Kind
Begins September 27
We live in a world that is, sadly, broken, fractured, divided, ruptured. Yet, we know thatโs not how things are supposed to be, or were created to be. Additionally, as followers of Jesus, we understand that we have a role to play in Godโs restoration of this world. This will require us to be healthy and whole ourselves.
Thankfully, God is already at work in each of us. In our final series for our year of Joy & Justice, weโre going to go through the book Good And Beautiful And Kind: Becoming Whole in a Fractured World, by pastor and author Rich Villodas. Weโre going to learn how to cooperate and collaborate with God in the renovating work of the Spirit within us, and how to participate with God in the ongoing renewal of this world beyond us.
This series will start on September 27, in worship services and table groups, and take us to the beginning of Advent. Books will be on sale beginning September 13 for $10. As a reminder, if youโre not in a Table Group, the start of a new series is always a good time to check one out, as we learn, discuss, and grow together.

Guns to Gardens
Saturday, September 19 | 10:00 AM -12:00 PM | Allisonville Christian Church (7701 Allisonville Rd.)
Allisonville Christian Church is hosting Indianapolis’s first Guns to Gardens event, a program that gives firearms a second life as garden tools instead of weapons.
Guns to Gardens is a nationwide, faith-rooted initiative offering a safe way to surrender unwanted firearms. Once a professional confirms a weapon is unloaded, it’s dismantled on-site, and a blacksmith forges the metal into gardening tools. Those who’d rather not have their firearm repurposed can opt to have it destroyed or turned into art instead.
Please share this information with gun-owning friends and family. Find details from Allisonville Christian Church at the button below.
