Join us for our next Big Family Dinner on October 4 to hear Pastor Matt share stories and reflections from his clergy renewal leave and have an opportunity to ask him questions. These monthly gatherings have become a wonderful way for our church family to share a meal, connect with one another, and take part in meaningful conversations. Breast Cancer Group
Monday, October 5 | 6:30 PM
The Journey Breast Cancer Group includes those who have experienced breast cancer in the past, are in treatment, or are recently diagnosed. This group meets on the first Monday of each month, and the next meeting is Monday, October 5, at 6:30 PM – all are welcome to join. Please contact the church office to learn more about the group and the meeting location at church.
Fish Fry Survey
The Fish Fry team wants to hear from you! Please take a few minutes to complete the survey to provide feedback about the 2026 Fish Fry. This survey is for the entire congregation, regardless of whether you volunteered at the event or not. Please click the button below to complete the survey online, or look for paper copies located in the Narthex.
CUMNS Kids Fundraisers
There are two upcoming opportunities to help support the CUMNS Kids program.
Dine at CR Heroes on Wednesday, October 14, and 15% of your check will go to CUMNS Kids.
Order handmade wooden lanterns build by a CUMNS family small business, Make Your Mark Woodshop, and a portion of sales will be donated to CUMNS Kids. Ordering and payment details are included in the flyer below.
IMPD Pantry
The IMPD break room and pantry is in need of a restock. Specific needs at this time are: bottled water, Gatorade Zero, soda, and individual packages of chips/cookies/fun size candy bars. Monetary donations are also welcome so that we can do the shopping for others who can’t lift some of these items. When giving online, please use the “other” option and note “IMPD”.
CUMNS Kids Trunk or Treat
Friday, October 16 | 5:00 PM
CUMNS Kids is hosting a Trunk or Treat event on October 16. CUMNS Kids students, Castleton Kids, and their families are all invited to participate.
Adults and Phao Students are invited to volunteer by helping in the following ways:
- Host a trunk
- Host a game or activity at the event
- Monetary donations and/or candy donations (can be dropped off at the CUMNS Kids office, weekdays 7:30-5:30)
