I have been noticing lately how there is a lot of conversation in the hallways of Castleton UMC along with a lot of laughter. This is true on Sunday mornings, but it’s also true during the week. Our staff spends a lot of time together. We enjoy each other’s company. We discuss, we work, and we laugh often.
Responding to Gun Violence as Easter People
Our street, our city, and our nation doesn’t have live like this. As followers of our risen Lord Jesus, we must respond to this violence. As I have shared before, I fully believe that we are to be witnesses of peace and prayer in our community. This is an important step to take, but our prayer should also lead us into action.
