Election Day Prayer & Communion Service

Excitement? Anxiety? Jubilation? Stress? Anticipation? Fear? 

There are a myriad of different thoughts and emotions one might experience going into an election and awaiting the results. 

As followers of Jesus, however, we must keep in mind that regardless of who is in the White House, the Capitol, the Court, or the Statehouse, JESUS REIGNS SUPREME! Our hope, our joy, our peace, our confidence does not lay with the results of this, or any, election. This is the foundational truth we want to encourage one another with on Election night.

We will gather together for a prayer and communion service on Tuesday November 5, at 6:00pm, in the sanctuary to remind each other of our identity in Christ, and our commitment to one another.

As we’ve been saying throughout this election season, “The ballot box may divide us, but the table of Christ unites us.” Let’s join together on Election night to celebrate that reality through prayer and communion.
