Serve at Soup’s On Ministry
Sunday, November 2 | Roberts Park UMC
Our next opportunity to serve lunch at the Soup’s On Ministry at Roberts Park UMC is on Sunday. We need brownies, cookies, vegetables, fruit, and 8-10 servers. Please use the button below to sign up. Food donations need to be dropped off at the church kitchen by 9:00 AM on Sunday, November 2. You can drop them off early in the church kitchen, labeled “Roberts Park.” If you have questions, contact the church office.
All Saints’ Sunday

If you have a saint you would like to remember on All Saints’ Sunday, you are invited to bring a framed photo of them to worship with you on Sunday to place on the altar and to light a memorial candle after receiving communion.

Breast Cancer Group

If you or someone you know is recently diagnosed, in treatment or has experienced breast cancer in the past, this is an invitation to join The Journey Breast Cancer Group. The members support, encourage and share joys and concerns together at the meetings held on the first Monday of each month. The group’s next meeting is Monday, Nov. 3 at 6:30 PM. Jan Johnson Weekend
Saturday, November 15 & Sunday, November 16
We’ve read her words. We’ve gleaned her insight, wit, and wisdom. Now it’s time to see her face and hear her voice IN PERSON. That’s right, Jan Johnson, author of Invitation to the Jesus Life, is coming to Castleton UMC on Saturday, November 15 and Sunday, November 16.
Saturday evening, we’ll have dinner together, followed by some teaching and interactive time with Jan. Invite your friends, perhaps bring a question or two, and enjoy a lively time with Jan and your church family. Please use the button below to let us know you plan to attend.

AHEPA Apartment Workday
Can you spend a few hours helping neighbors with needed assistance at the AHEPA apartments? On
Saturday, November 15, we will meet at the AHEPA Apartments (7355 Shadeland Station Way) to assist residents with their requested needs. The help we provide usually involves cleaning or small household projects. In the past, we have cleaned refrigerators, bathrooms, and kitchens, mopped and swept floors, dusted, cleaned windows, hung curtains, and set up electronics. The residents are so appreciative of any assistance we provide. You can sign up using the button below. For questions, please reach contact the church office.
Live Nativity
Friday, December 5 & Saturday, December 6 | 6:00 – 8:00 PM
On December 5 and 6, we’ll welcome our neighbors to take a walk through Bethlehem to celebrate the birth of the newborn King. Play a role in this big event by helping with set-up, baking cookies, being in the cast, and more. Click the button below to learn how you can help.
