As we continue to journey through Lent, Holy Week is approaching. The worship schedule for Holy Week is as follows:
Palm Sunday: March 29 at 9:00 & 11:00 AM
Holy Thursday: April 2 at 6 PM
Good Friday: April 3 at 6 PM
Easter Sunday: identical services at 9:00 & 11:00 AM
Financial Snapshot & Ministry Center Building
Informational Meeting | Thursday, April 2 | 7:00 PM
As part of our commitment to transparency and faithful stewardship, we want to provide the congregation with a brief update on our church finances and the ongoing process of selling the Ministry Center building. We will be holding a brief meeting to provide an update on Thursday, April 2 at 7 PM (or directly after the Holy Thursday worship service at 6 PM).
We give thanks for the continued generosity of our congregation. Your faithful giving allows us to sustain our core ministries, support outreach in the community, and maintain the life of the church. While we continue to be mindful and careful with our spending, the church remains financially stable because of your commitment and support.
At the same time, we are continuing the conversation and discernment around selling the Ministry Center building. The first goal is to help our church become debt-free. We want to provide updates on where this conversation has moved and what we are exploring. We will continue to keep the congregation informed as updates become available. Thank you for your prayers, patience, and faithful support as we move forward together in ministry.

We’re Hiring a Family Ministries Coordinator
Do you have a passion for helping children and families grow in their faith and follow Jesus? Do you enjoy being creative, building relationships, and bringing energy to ministry?
Castleton is seeking a part-time Family Ministries Coordinator to help support and strengthen our family ministries. This person will bring organization, creativity, and enthusiasm to the role by connecting with parents and children, equipping and encouraging teachers, and helping create meaningful and joyful experiences for families in our church community.

Still Waters Adult Day Center Spring Flower Fundraiser
Still Waters Adult Day Center is hosting a Spring Flower Sale to support our Arts & Music Program, which brings creativity, connection, and joy to seniors with physical and cognitive challenges. Beautiful flowers are available to order for your home and garden, and every purchase helps enrich the lives of the seniors we serve. Please use the button below to place an order by Monday, March 23 at 5:00 PM. Flowers may be picked up on Friday, May 8, from 2:00-5:00 PM. We will also be in the narthex to take orders in person in between worship services on March 15 and 22.
Easter Celebration

Children and families will celebrate Easter in the Family Life Center at 10 AM with an egg hunt, activities on the Resurrection of Jesus, and Easter Fun!
VBS Volunteers
A fun week of games, crafts, worship and exploring the Bible returns June 15-18. Adults and students entering 6th grade in the fall and older can begin signing up to make a difference during our “What’s Cooking?” VBS week. Trusted Mentors Chili Cook Off
Sunday, April 19 | 12:00-2:00 PM | CUMC Fellowship Hall
Trusted Mentors, a 501(c)3 organization, supports adults at risk of homelessness or reincarceration, as well as youth aging out of foster care by matching them with a mentor. When they are able to maintain the mentor match for at least 6 months, they are about 90% successful in keeping the mentee housed and out of prison.
You can support their mission by entering a crockpot full of your favorite chili for a donation of $25. Or, you can help determine the winner! Five dollars entitles you to a taste of each competitor’s chilli and a bowl of your favorite (as long as it lasts).
Catching Joy at Victory Field!

Join Pastor Matt as we catch joy together at an Indianapolis Indians ballgame on Sunday, April 26 for a 1:35pm first pitch! There’s nothing better than a Sunday afternoon ballgame and time together as a church family.
Tickets are only $5 per ticket (the cost is subsidized thanks to the Lilly Clergy Renewal Grant).
All children 14 and under receive a free hot dog, bag of chips, and a milk with the price of admission.
