With your help, we can eliminate diaper need in our community by providing a reliable and adequate source of basic baby diapering essentials. Please join us to learn about how you can be a part of this important mission.

Join us for a tour of the Diaper Bank. Meet at the warehouse, 5248 W. 79th St, at 10:30 AM or meet at the church (door 1) at 9:20 AM to carpool. If you are able to help with carpooling, please let Rosemary Draga know. Please RSVP by April 29 to the church office.
Big Family Dinner

Breast Cancer Group

If you or someone you know is recently diagnosed, in treatment or has experienced breast cancer in the past, this is an invitation to join The Journey Breast Cancer Group. The members support, encourage and share joys and concerns together at the meetings held on the first Monday of each month. The group’s next meeting is Monday, May 4 at 6:30 PM. Please contact the church office to learn more about the group and the meeting location.
Outreach Walking for Dreams
Sunday, May 17 | 2:00 PM | Crown Hill Cemetery
Help us support our mission partners, Outreach Indiana, with their goal to raise $50,000 to provide transformational services and build relationships with youth experiencing homelessness in Indianapolis. You can join the Castleton UMC team or donate by using the button below. The registration fee for the walk with $30 ($5 for children ages 4-12; children 3 and under can participate for free). This pet-friendly event is held at Crown Hill (700 38th Street) with registration from 1:00-2:00 PM.
Gleaners Mobile Food Pantry
Select Tuesdays Beginning June 9
Buy food or pay rent? No one should be forced to choose. We are excited to announce that we are partnering again this summer with Gleaners to bring the CARE Mobile Food Pantry to our campus on the following Tuesdays this summer:

- July 7, 21 & 28
- August 11 & 25

VBS
June 15-18 | 6:00-8:00 PM
A fun week of games, crafts, worship and exploring the Bible returns in just a few months. Cooking is more than just mixing stuff together—it takes time, creativity, care, and knowing what each ingredient brings to the table. The same is true when it comes to growing our faith! At What’s Cookin’? VBS, kids will discover how to practice spiritual habits that bring them closer to God.
Registration is open now for both participants (potty-trained 3-year-olds through incoming 5th graders), youth volunteers (incoming 6th-12th graders), and adult volunteers. Please use the button below to learn more and sign up.
Fish Fry Volunteers
Our 45th annual Fish Fry is scheduled for July 16-18, 2026. The Fish Fry is one of our biggest events each year and requires lots of volunteers to make it happen. Like we did last year, to ensure we can successfully host this event, we’re asking for volunteers to sign up early. We specifically need to know we will have enough volunteers for set-up (Mon-Wed evenings), cashiers, fryers, drive-thru, and kitchen. Please use the button below to sign up, or look for sign-up tables in the Narthex in April.
Summer Worship Schedule
Join us on Sunday, May 17, for one worship service at 10 AM as we pray for and bless Pastor Matt as he begins his renewal leave. We will also welcome and bless Pastor Cindy Reynolds as she will serve as our Interim Senior Pastor during Pastor Matt’s leave. Our summer worship schedule of one service at 10:00 AM will continue from May 17 through July 26.
