Cooking is more than just mixing stuff together—it takes time, creativity, care, and knowing what each ingredient brings to the table. The same is true when it comes to growing our faith! At What’s Cookin’? VBS, kids will discover how to practice spiritual habits that bring them closer to God.
Registration is open now for participants (potty-trained 3-year-olds through incoming 5th graders) at no cost to families.Don’t miss out on the best week of summer with games, worship, crafts, and more fun! Please help us plan ahead by using the button below to register today.
Help with VBS
You can help us provide a fun week for children to experience God’s love at our What’s Cookin’ VBS. There are still roles available for adult and youth (incoming 6th-12th grade) volunteers. You can also help by donating items from our Amazon wish list!

New Worship Series: Summer in the Psalms
Begins Sunday, May 31
How do we give language to the joy we experience in life? How do we express our frustration when justice is delayed or withheld? (Please keep in mind that our theme for 2026 is Joy & Justice.) How do we communicate our long-held hope for the fulfillment of God’s promises? How do we pray for peace, reconciliation, and restoration?
Thankfully, we do not need to look far for answers. We gave the gift of the book of Psalms. Some have called the Psalms “a school of prayer”. (It is not coincidental that our semi-annual Prayer School leans heavily on Psalms.) N.T. Wright says, “The Psalms offer us a way of joining in a chorus of praise and prayer that has been going on for millennia and across all cultures.”
It seems our good, wise, loving God knew we would need a tutor like the Psalms to help us give voice to the wide range of human experience and how to interact with God through it all. That’s why we will be taking 9 weeks this summer to explore some of the Psalms.

Summer Worship Schedule
One Worship Service at 10 AM | May 17- July 26
Join us on Sunday as we transition to one 10:00 AM worship service for the summer. We will pray for and bless Pastor Matt as he begins his renewal leave, and also welcome and bless Interim Senior Pastor Cindy Reynolds. Our summer worship schedule of one service at 10:00 AM will continue through July 26.

Gleaners Mobile Food Pantry
Select Tuesdays Beginning June 9
Buy food or pay rent? No one should be forced to choose. We are excited to announce that we are partnering again this summer with Gleaners to bring the CARE Mobile Food Pantry to our campus on the following Tuesdays this summer:
- June 9 & 23
- July 7, 21 & 28
- August 11 & 25
Please use the link below for details about volunteering and to sign up.

Fish Fry Volunteers
Our 45th annual Fish Fry is scheduled for July 16-18, 2026. The Fish Fry is one of our biggest events each year and requires lots of volunteers to make it happen. Like we did last year, to ensure we can successfully host this event, we’re asking for volunteers to sign up early. We specifically need to know we will have enough volunteers for set-up (Mon-Wed evenings), cashiers, fryers, drive-thru, and kitchen. Please use the button below to sign up, or look for sign-up tables in the Narthex in April.
