New Worship Series – What If Jesus Was Serious About Justice?

Begins August 2

Our theme this year is Joy & Justice. We have spent the summer Catching Joy, now it’s time to turn our attention to Justice. But what is “justice”? What are we speaking of when we talk about “justice”? Author Skye Jethani writes, “..it’s important to recognize that different definitions of ‘justice’ exist, rooted in different traditions and assumptions.” As such, there is a lot of confusion and debate, both inside and outside the church, on this topic.

We’re going to spend 8 weeks (August and most of September) getting a good grasp on what Jesus and the Bible have to say about Justice, as we read and discuss Skye’s book, What If Jesus Was Serious About Justice?

Books will go on sale beginning on Sunday for $15. Join us by reading along, participating in a Table Group, and attending Sunday service, as we learn Justice in the way of Jesus together.
