Fish Fry Recap
The 2025 Fish Fry was a rousing success thanks to over 200 volunteers who worked over 500 shifts to make it happen! Financially, we made around $14,000 to support our missions. We were also able to donate leftover food worth over $3,000 to various mission groups, including the Salvation Army and the Community Cupboard. We sold 5,478 fish sandwiches/fish-in-a-dish, 2453 French fries, 1450 servings of cole slaw, and 1395 servings of pie over the course of 3 days. The Book Nook raised $1315 for Family Promise as well.
Next year’s Fish Fry is scheduled for July 16-18, but we will need to evaluate early next year if we have enough volunteers to make it happen again. If you are interested to learn more about planning for next year’s event, please see Tiffany Ellefson or Bob Carnahan for more information. Thank you to everyone who volunteered this year!

David Worthington believes the ‘methods’ established in the 18th-century Methodist movement on both sides of the Atlantic can provide us with valuable lessons and insights as to how we should be addressing some of our current challenges as a denomination. He will share about the need to reclaim our identity as Methodists, but, to do so, we first need to understand what it means to be a Methodist!
