United Women in Faith Guest Speaker

You are invited to join Castleton United Women in Faith (CUWF) next Saturday at 10 AM in Fellowship Hall (enter thru door #2) to hear from guest speaker, Susan D. Bennett, who has served as Director of Public Relations for the Indiana Methodist Children’s Home for nearly 30 years. Contact the church office for information about how to RSVP.
The CUWF is seeking in-kind donations of toiletries such as shampoo, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, as well as AA and AAA batteries. Donations can be dropped off at the meeting or placed in the box labeled ‘IUMCH’ in the church narthex.
Breast Cancer Support Group
Monday, September 8 | 6:30 PM
The Journey Breast Cancer Group includes those who have experienced breast cancer in the past or are recently diagnosed. This group typically meets on the first Monday of each month yet due to Labor Day the next meeting is Monday, September 8 at 6:30 PM – all are welcome. Please contact the church office to learn more about the group and the meeting location at church.
AHEPA Apartment Workday

Can you lend a hand to our neighbors who need help with household tasks? Meet at the AHEPA Apartments (7355 Shadeland Station Way) to assist residents with their requested needs. The help we provide usually involves cleaning or small household projects such as cleaning refrigerators, bathrooms, and kitchens, mopping, dusting, or setting up electronics. The residents are so appreciative of any assistance we provide. You can sign up using the button below. For questions, please contact the church office.

Prayer School Online returns next month for the opportunity to learn and actively engage in the prayer liturgy that Pastor Brian Zahnd, founder and lead pastor of Word of Life Church in St. Joseph, Missouri, has developed during a lifetime of pastoral ministry. This prayer school will help you gain a fresh perspective on the purpose of prayer and will provide you with a sustainable framework for personal prayer.

Home Sweet Home Fundraiser for Family Promise
You are invited to the 26th annual Home Sweet Home fundraiser supporting Family Promise. It will feature dinner, a silent auction, and the signature Dessert Auction. It will be held on Thursday, September 25, starting at 6:00 pm at 502 East Event Center in Carmel.
Art and Craft Fair Volunteers

The Castleton UMC annual Art and Craft Fair is looking for volunteers! Sign up in person in the Narthex on September 7 and 21.
30 Days of Catch for Gleaners!
September is Hunger Action Month and for the 3rd year Pastor Matt is playing catch for 30 days with 30 different people to raise awareness and funds for Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana.
