"What God Does in the Quiet"

"Maybe we really need quiet space in our lives. Maybe we need to carve it out, schedule it out, and make it happen so that the Lord can speak, and lead, and comfort, and restore our souls." - Rev. Jen S. Gibbs Rev. Jen S. Gibbs continues our "Quiet Work" series where we dig into what it means to find God in the quiet parts of our lives.

Scripture References: Psalms 23:1-6

From Series: "Quiet Work"

As we continue to move out of the pandemic, our world will speed up again. For some, slow and quiet was a new experience. For some it was a difficult experience. What if slow and quiet is a window into the way God often works? What if God’s Spirit meets us in her slow, quiet and steady work? During this series we will explore the Holy Spirit as we move toward Pentecost where we celebrate the pouring out of God’s Spirit upon all of creation including us. We will explore both Old and New Testament scriptures about the quiet, steady, whispering Spirit of God given to us.
